This past week has been interesting.. I got sick.. Like “you can’t make me get off the couch” sick. Unfortunately missing almost all of my uncle Gary’s week long visit.
Now that I am back up, and the house has mostly returned back to normal, I am back on track with the wheat free month. Besides the nasty cold I had, I feel a lot better then I have in a LONG time. My digestive system seems to be working much better. I have more energy, and I am loosing weight without doing anything extra except not eating wheat.
We did go off menu one night last week, well twice. I had a late night shopping run where the new taco at Taco Bell just looked too good to pass up…. I should have said no.. It literally made me ill. The other was when I was out from the cold and Hubs made sliders for everyone using Hawaiian Rolls.
This week my menu is a little easier on all of us.
I think I figured out a way to include the links to the recipes, where I found them. I hope it works!
I am amazed that my kids LOVE the lunches with hummus, chips and sliced veggies. Not once has anyone thrown a fit for a PB&J and I overheard a conversation between two of my children where one was telling the other that they are eating WAY better then before! Made me smile!
